Join Windy Brow for an exciting summer collab with Porta Rossa! 5 Courses, 2 Seatings, July 19th! Menu will go live about a week out from the event, but expect dishes featuring Jersey grown & harvested meats, seafood, vegetables & fruits.

Matt Ruzga is a New Jersey-born chef with a deep-rooted passion for Italian cuisine and a lifelong love of pasta. He began his formal culinary training in high school and later earned degrees in Culinary Arts and Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University.
Matt’s career has taken him from Las Vegas kitchens to some of New York City’s most acclaimed restaurants. At Lupa, under Chefs Mark Ladner and Cruz Goler, he developed a deep respect for the simplicity and soul of la cucina povera. He later joined the team at Del Posto, to run the pasta program as Executive Sous Chef. His time with Union Square Hospitality Group, including roles at Maialino and Marta, further shaping his philosophy on hospitality and leadership.

Together, with Sam Tavormina, Matt operates Porta Rossa Pasta & Provisions in Maplewood, NJ, slinging fresh made pasta & other italian specialties to jersey locals far & wide.

Accommodations can be made for dairy allergies, however we are unable to amend the set menu for gluten allergies or vegan requirements.

This event is BYOB. Still & sparking water will be provided; soft drinks, seltzers & kombuchas will be available for purchase on site.
